Former sorority girl. A 20 something. NYU Post Grad. Owner of a post grad lifestyle blog.
Girl In Gamba started when a friend once called me una ragazza in gamba (gahm-ba), which translates from Italian to mean a clever girl or a girl that’s going places and is on top of things. I thought this was so fitting as a blog name because it’s everything I am and everything I want to be. The birth of the niche, “post grad lifestyle blog,” came from all the interests I had and wanted to share.
Being A Girl In Gamba means:
-You’re not afraid to speak your mind.
-Your head is always in the clouds dreaming.
-You never stop listening to your ambition.
-You’re always looking for ways to better yourself.
About Me (the girl behind this post grad lifestyle blog):
Hi! I go by GG and I’ve been blogging on and off since 2013. If you count Tumblr, then I’ve been blogging on and off since 2010. I graduated from New York University where I majored in communications and started Girl In Gamba after learning that post grad life is no joke.
I’ve been an office assistant, I’ve interned for a major fashion company, and I interned for a major entertainment company. On top of this, I studied abroad 3 times: Spain, France, and Italy. I have goals and aspirations like any other inspired 20-something, which is one of the many reasons why I started this post grad lifestyle blog.
I try my best to deliver quality content at least twice a week, so don’t be afraid to come back!
