How to Plan a 4th of July Party Like A True Hostess

4th of July Party

To my friends, I am not a die-hard American, but I love to throw a party and I love to dress up. If we’re being honest, 4th of July is all about a celebration, right? We’re talking fireworks, barbecues, and festive looks. So, on 4th of July, I don’t really go hard, but I do want to look my best. Additionally, I just want to have fun and enjoy my friends and family. Being the party planner that I am, I figured I’d put together a little guide to help you plan the perfect 4th of July party. You may not have a big budget, but that doesn’t mean your party can’t be fire.

4th of July Party Decorations

Decorations are really important to any party, but you definitely want to make sure you have the right decorations at your 4th of July party. This includes plates, centerpieces, and even napkin colors. You think this is trivial and I would agree with you, but you’ll understand when you realize that there’s not enough balance between colors.

What Kind of Food & Drinks?

It can’t be a party without food and drinks. I’ve been to parties where food was not served. This is not a good idea because your guests will be disappointed. At least provide some snack for them (pro tip: you can get snacks at the dollar store). However, if you want to get festive with it, which of the food and drink choices do you like below?

Put Your Party Dress & Makeup On

This is my favorite because I love to dress up. You don’t have to dress up for 4th of July, but if you’re hosting a party, you might want to put in a little effort. Look through these cards to see if anything speaks to you!

What About Nails?

You can’t forget to do your nails! Don’t worry, we’ve already made a blog post for that! Check it out here!

Please let me know down in the comments if you liked this kind of interaction! I’m also curious to know what you’re doing for the 4th of July?
