Merry Christmas!!! Last year I talked about what I did
1. What is your favorite Christmas film?
I think my favorite Christmas film is How The Grinch Stole Christmas (2000). It’s one of the versions that I grew up watching, so it holds a special place in my heart.
2. Have you ever had a White Christmas?
I think I might have seen a White Christmas once, but it hasn’t really happened often.
3. Where do you usually spend your holiday?
I normally spend Christmas with my family. Sometimes at my house and sometimes at another family members’ house.
4. What is your favorite Christmas song?
I’d be lying if it wasn’t Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas Is You

5. Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?
No! I don’t think I could do it! My mom has tempted me before but I save all my presents for Christmas. I want to be on the nice list!
6. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?
Ok let’s do this! Rudolph, prancer, dasher, dancer, vixon, comet, cupid and I know I’m missing a couple.
7. What holiday traditions are you looking forward to most this year?
I don’t really have any holiday traditions. I wish I did! Of course, we have to drink some eggnog, but no specific traditions. Maybe one day!

8. Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
It’s fake! I know, I know. We used to have real trees but not anymore. Too scared of spiders being hidden in them!
9. What is your all-time favorite holiday food/sweet treat?
Oh boy! Vanilla spice eggnog, those Christmas tree brownies, red velvet cake (although that’s not really holiday specific). I should say that there’s nothing really specific though. I love almost all sweets. Ice cream is probably my absolute favorite and I will take it any day, especially for the holidays.
10. Be honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?
Both! I like doing DIY gifts like a DIY advent calendar. I think there’s something really nice about giving someone something special that you’ve put together. Although, that being said, I do like receiving gifts too. I love being surprised! So, both are really fun.

11. What is the best Christmas gift you’ve ever received?
Oh I don’t know! I’ve had some really cool gifts. Though, one that sticks out in my mind is when I got to go see the Nutcracker ballet for the first time two years ago. I’ve always adored that ballet from afar and never had the chance to go. So, I was surprised with tickets to a performance at my local theater. I hadn’t been to that theater in such a long time and forgot how big and lavish it was. Also, it was such a good show because they used special effects on stage where I sat about three or four rows away.
12. What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?
Actually, right now it would be somewhere cozy like Aspen or Vail. I’ve been to a couple of European cities around Christmas time and that was really cool. However, I’ve never been to a snowy ski lodge or cabin. I think it would be quite nice to spend some time in a ski resort drinking hot coco by a fire. However, I don’t know much about Aspen or Vail but I would imagine they would be cool places to do this. So, maybe one day I’ll get to check that off my list.

13. Are you a pro-present wrapper, or do you fail miserably?
I fail miserably! I’m so bad but I’m getting better! I think it comes with practice.
14. Most memorable Holiday moment?
This is hard! I think this year I actually had a tree that I decorated and was proud of. It is close to my dream tree and I had a lot of fun making ornaments and putting it up. My theme was light pink, gold, and gray. It looks so lush and pretty! I think it’s my favorite Christmas tree.
15. What made you realize the truth about Santa?
I think someone told me at school! I’m not really sure. My parents never told me. I think I just grew out of it as I got older.
16. Do you make New Years resolutions? Do you stick to them?
I make them but I don’t always stick with them. I try really hard though! Sometimes life just gets in the way. Check out the post I made about this last year.
17. What makes the holidays special for you?
The Christmas decorations, the music, and having time off to spend with family. Those are probably the best things!
