Less Hangry & Tired? | J.Lo’s 10 Day Challenge

J.Lo's 10 Day Challenge

I’m backdating day 4 because it was crazy busy! I think I didn’t feel so tired and hangry but I’m not entirely convinced that it’s because of this challenge. That being said, I’m so jealous that J.Lo’s last day was only my 4th day. Yet, I’m still pressing on and will continue to do J.Lo’s 10 day challenge.

Day 4

Breakfast

Breakfast was pretty much the same as yesterday. I had my egg bites and went on with my day.

Lunch

No leftover lasagna! But I did have leftover cod and some mixed veggies. It was pretty good! For a snack, I had plain greek yogurt with strawberries and some almonds.

Dinner

For dinner, I decided to make a mushroom pizza with lemon ricotta. I thought I was being smart by using cauliflower crust from Trader Joe’s but I learned that not all foods that look healthy are necessarily that way. For one slice of just the crust, there’s 17g of carbs. I didn’t really have anything else to cook so I continued and only ate one slice and a salad.

Today’s Takeaway

I think there’s a lot of factors that go into the reasons why I feel so tired and hungry all the time. Also, I’ve felt a bit bloated as well. In honesty, I’m not sure if it’s the restriction, PMS, or just not getting good quality sleep. I definitely like the recipes I’ve been doing so far but I would like to have a less restrictive, healthier diet.

Question of the day: What is your favorite meal to cook?
